Take a bite out of this...the Menu of ALL Menus

Did you know that once a year you can sample the city’s best restaurants’ menus all in one location? Yes, it’s true! The Houston Press has been so kind as to help the food lovers out there (like me) indulge a little bit and taste the treats from as many eateries as your tummy can handle. Each year they throw the Menu of Menus Extravaganza,the end-all be-all dining experience of the year!

So what is that, you say? Well, on Tuesday, April 12, 2011, dozens of the city’s finest restaurants will bring samples of their best dishes to Spring Street Studios (1824 Spring St) for all to enjoy. This carte du jour of options ranges from American dishes and desserts to various exotic dishes from around the world, and I can’t forget to mention the Press keeps the party going with live music and an open bar. The best part of it all is that a portion of the proceeds from the event benefits The Center for Hearing and Speech, a non-profit organization that enables hearing-impaired children to realize their full potential and teaches them the listening, speaking and literacy skills needed to succeed in the mainstream hearing world.
